We’ve had time to get good at serving you, because we’ve been around for a while. We first started up in 1960 and we’ve been going strong ever since then. We came together as a way to serve local teachers and school employees, and we still have a proud history of donating to school organizations and educational causes.
Credit unions are technically “not-for-profits” which is a fancy term that just means we aren’t focused on profits or pleasing shareholders. Any money we do make goes straight back to our members through our rates. That’s why you’ll often find a better deal on your auto loan, etc. at a credit union.
Even though we are smaller than many banks, we are still a smart, safe place to put your money. All of our accounts are insured up to $250,000 through the National Credit Union Administration. And yes, we’ve got everything you’ve come to expect from a financial institution, including online bill pay, online banking, a nationwide ATM network, a sleek mobile app and so much more.
